The story

A tiger's head (虍) over a stomach (胃): picture striped hide stretched across a belly. 膚 almost always comes paired with 皮 as 皮膚, skin, and the 皮膚科, the dermatology clinic, is where you take a rash.

Used in 皮膚 (hifu, skin), 皮膚科 (hifuka, dermatology), and 完膚なきまで (kanpu naki made, utterly, leaving nothing intact)
