The story

Sickness (疒) with beans (豆): pox scattering little bean-like blisters over the skin. 痘 lives in 天然痘, smallpox, wiped out worldwide by vaccination, in 水痘, chickenpox, and in 種痘, the old word for smallpox vaccination.

Used in 天然痘 (tennentou, smallpox), 水痘 (suitou, chickenpox), and 種痘 (shutou, smallpox vaccination)
