The story

Sickness (疒) over 正, correct: naming exactly what is wrong. 症 is a symptom or condition: 症状 is symptoms, 花粉症 is hay fever, the spring misery of masks and tissues, and 熱中症 is heatstroke, warned about all summer.

Used in 症状 (shoujou, symptoms), 花粉症 (kafunshou, hay fever), and 熱中症 (necchuushou, heatstroke)
