The story

Flesh (月) beside 莫, the sun sinking into grass, the same piece as in 幕, curtain: a thin curtain of tissue. 膜 is a membrane or film: 鼓膜 is the eardrum, 角膜 the cornea, and 粘膜 the soft lining of nose and throat.

Used in 鼓膜 (komaku, eardrum), 角膜 (kakumaku, cornea), and 粘膜 (nenmaku, mucous membrane)
