The story

The sun (日) beside 爰, a hand (爫) reaching down to a hand (又): warmth passed along on a mild day. 暖かい is warm, 暖房 is the heating, 温暖化 is global warming, and 暖簾, read のれん, is the cloth curtain over a shop door.

Used in 暖かい (atatakai, warm), 暖房 (danbou, heating), and 温暖化 (ondanka, global warming)
