The story

Picture a window (冂 around 口) with three wisps of smoke (⺌) rising above it, higher still. Read なお, 尚 opens the last line of formal notices, "note also that"; 尚更 is all the more, and 時期尚早, too early yet, is a favorite of cautious officials.

Used in 尚更 (naosara, all the more), 時期尚早 (jiki shousou, premature), and 高尚 (koushou, refined/lofty)
