The story
A foot (⻊) beside a halberd (戈) with extra strokes, the right side of 残 and 浅: picture a recruit done with drills stepping onto the real field. 践 is treading the path yourself, and it lives almost entirely in 実践, putting what you have learned into practice.
Used in 実践 (jissen, practice/putting into action) and 実践的 (jissenteki, practical)
