The story

Picture two hands lifting someone (the top, as in 奏) clear of the water (氺 at the bottom): rescued, safe and calm. 泰 is ease that does not waver: 安泰 is secure, 泰然 unruffled, and 天下泰平 is peace across the land.

Used in 安泰 (antai, security/stability), 泰然 (taizen, calm/composed), and 泰平 (taihei, peace and tranquility)
