The story

A mouth (口) at someone's ear: picture a voice nudging a friend toward trouble. 唆す is to egg someone on, 教唆 is incitement, punished in Japan like the crime itself, and the gentler 示唆 is a hint, the word reports use when evidence suggests something.

Used in 示唆 (shisa, suggestion/hint), 唆す (sosonokasu, to egg on), and 教唆 (kyousa, incitement)
