The story

Money (貝) beside 武, the warrior: picture soldiers collecting a levy door to door. 賦 is a share paid out or handed down: 月賦 is paying in monthly installments, and 天賦の才, a talent given by heaven, is natural genius.

Used in 月賦 (geppu, monthly installments), 割賦 (kappu, installment payment), and 天賦 (tenpu, natural gift)
