The story

Ten (十) beside three bursts of strength (力力力): many hands pulling together. 協力 is cooperation, 妥協 a compromise, and the 農協, the farmers' co-op, runs banks and supermarkets all over rural Japan.

Used in 協力 (kyouryoku, cooperation), 妥協 (dakyou, compromise), and 協会 (kyoukai, association)
