Two mouths (口口) over a curving line, beside a head (頁): the hinge that works the mouth. 顎 is the jaw and chin: 二重顎 is a double chin, and 顎で使う, ordering people with a jerk of your chin, is bossing them around.

Used in 顎 (ago, jaw/chin), 二重顎 (nijuuago, double chin), and 顎関節 (gakukansetsu, jaw joint)
