The story

Words (言) dressed up as something excellent (秀): picture an offer too good to turn down. 誘う is to invite, a friend asking you out, but the same lure turns dark in 誘惑, temptation, and 誘拐, kidnapping.

Used in 誘う (sasou, to invite), 誘惑 (yuuwaku, temptation), and 誘拐 (yuukai, kidnapping)
