The story

A heart (忄) beside the sun (日) held between two lines (二): picture a sun that never leaves its track. 恒星 are the fixed stars, shining by their own light, and an event billed as 毎年恒例, a yearly tradition, comes around without fail.

Used in 恒例 (kourei, customary/annual event), 恒星 (kousei, fixed star), and 恒久 (koukyuu, permanence)
