A heart (忄) with a thread run straight through it (貫): do something every day and it strings itself into you. 慣れる is to get used to, and 習慣 is a habit or custom, like slipping your shoes off at the door.
Used in 慣れる (nareru, to get used to), 習慣 (shuukan, habit/custom), and 慣用句 (kan'youku, idiom)
